I had high hopes for this series mainly because it had a heroine who was an officer in an army. A soldier. But as the story developed, they turned a bad ass woman who could really kick a*s into a woman who is good only in supporting a man but not leading. It's like the writers couldn't decide if they were gonna go with a story similar to Princess Hours or Mulan. I like seeing characters develop into something more than what they already are. But at the same time I like consistency. No drastic personality changes.
