It had a completely different feel to it then Hana Kimi, but that's to be expected I guess. The character's are definitely prettier, but i find this version a lot 'duller'. Hana Kimi is meant to be ridiculous, that's part of its charm. and the bonding of the dorm students. Oh well it is the first episode of course so its not like i can really judge.
One thing that is really bugging me is the random sound effects placed throughout the episode... like a 90s cartoon. its really bugging me.

First off let me just say I don't hate this drama. I do think it is cute, at times. And it does have a certain charm.
So, i've pretty much accepted that the main character is weak but the show makes up for it with the craziness of all the other characters. It's getting slightly better.. but I still don't see where the show is going at all. There's 16 episodes, so I'm already a third of the way through and neither main character like each other or show any emotion towards each other at all.... On that note, being that it's a korean drama they will obviously end up together but is that really a good thing? I mean Enrique is all childish and enthusiastic about everything where Dok Mi is pretty much a lifeless, expressionless doll with no ambition or anything really. You can't honestly tell me that every girl out there is just waiting for some hot guy to come along and suddenly she becomes the outgoing exciting person she was always supposed to be? C'mon people. I know this is a Korean drama but lets get real. Either you are a closed-off person who wants no human interaction like Dok Mi is, or you're not. If she suddenly starts openning up now (which I still don't know because this is the slowest drama ever) then she is an even more pitiful character then I thought. No girl needs a man to make their life worth living. If that's all she was waiting for all this time then that's extremely pathetic.
I'm sorry again... If I insult anyone with my ranting review. I was going to drop this drama but now im determined to finish it. I really do hope the writers prove me wrong.

Honestly, I do not see myself continuing this drama after the next episode if it still hasn't picked up. The main character is just so lacking in... EVERYTHING. she's pathetic really. I don't know what happened in her past to make her like this, but now would be a good time for the writers to tell us because right now it seems like she's depressed and anti-social for absolutely no reason. and believe me, I'm a social introvert so I know all about being 'anti-social' but she is just ridiculous. she has one hot guy who's loved her for 3 years, and another hot guy who wants at the very least be her friend but she'd rather mope around at home hugging water bottles and sleeping. In all honesty, she seems like a complete cry baby to me. Her life can't be much worse then that of the other heroines of kdrama yet they become stronger for it while she became a pathetic mess.
I don't see where this drama is going at all. the only possibilities is that this Enrique guy will somehow make her come out of her 'shell' and they will fall in love.. But then where does this other guy fit it? She's spoken like 2 words to him the entire 3 years of living right next to each other!!

The title pretty much sums up my review. I am seriously crying rivers over here. I had to stop half way through to re-hydrate myself XD Such an amazing drama.

It's just one mistake after another with Jae Hee. This girl needs to learn to think before she acts.. just saying.
I still can't tell if Maru is sincere or not with his feelings for EunGi. if he isn't he is being too cruel, but this is drama land so im guessing the main lead of this drama will be the two of them in the end and Jae Hee is the other women. I would not have predicted this from the first episode lol

so im pretty sure, if you looked up overly dramatic in the dictionary, there should be a picture of this drama. It's actually laughable. I know its a melodrama but wow... I can't take this drama seriously at all. Everything is just completely way too exaggerated. And i mean EVERYTHING...... how am i supposed to relate to this?

I've read a lot of good reviews about this drama, hopefully it lives up to its reputation.
So far it's pretty confusing, but still good. It seems quite unrealistic so far.. but its a Korean drama, what was I expecting? It's a good start. I hope it progresses well.

finally this drama is getting significantly better. im trying really hard not to compare it to Hana Kimi since the writers are definitely very loosely connecting the two. It's definitely getting better and i don't think i will be dropping it after all. :)

here i am, comparing again... its just Hana Kimi was a comedy whereas this is not even remotely funny or even meant to be funny. this is all serious, where Hana Kimi was nonsense all the time.
I also had no idea they would be changing the actual reason of her joining this school in the first placed, hence the actual point of the show; because he got hurt while saving her life and she felt its her life's mission to get him to jump again. Instead she comes across as a total stalker.
So far i am just so disappointed by this. ill give it till the next episode and then im dropping it.
