Overall, this was a solid, sound story with absolutely AMAZING characters and actors. I loved every minute of it, and the main storylines were well-written and excellently portrayed and I was incredibly invest in them - all of them EXCEPT Phubet. But we'll get to that later.

Knock and Korn might be the best characters, or best actors, that I have seen in any BL so far. Their chemistry and the emotions that they have the ability to portray on screen are captivating. They go through so many ups and downs and are the victims of the juiciest evil subplot I've ever seen and their intensity at every twist and turn shows on their faces in a way I can't explain. They move through the expected phases of their relationship so naturally, unlike so many other dramas where things always tend to feel forced, or they are put into super weird situations to alter the plot in their favor. Their love seems so genuine and their decisions make so much sense. I never got mad at either of them for their reactions, like I have at other shows.

I feel like I need to give Yihwa like... And entire page? An entire novel? But at the same time, there aren't enough words? Yihwa is... The best friend anyone could ever ask for. Her personality is amazing. She is absolutely stunning. Supportive. Caring. Passionate. Kind. Smart. Just perfection.

Farm and Bright started off pretty well, and I actually really appreciated the poly angle, although I don't like where it ended up. I do see that where it went is where it could go, though. As much as I'd hoped for a healthy poly portrayal, Farm is that character and that was the only outcome given the situation he was put into. I don't know where it goes in Bad Romance, but I'm not looking forward to how hard it will be to watch. Even the last episode was cringey, seeing the innocent Farm so dark so suddenly. Ugh.

The antagonist storyline in this show was EPIC. I've not seen such a good, dramatic, well-thought out antagonist in ANY of the series I've watched, this is completely a first. Especially because it lasted the entire series. There were some antagonists in other series that would last an episode or two, but then fall off. This bitch, however, was not exposed until the end, and was even expertly and slowly disclosed to the audience. Like, even we didn't know she was an evil bitch until well after she had been an evil bitch. It was excellent. I was so here for it, the entire time.

And now I'm gonna talk about Phu, the handsome playboy who sees something he likes and will stop at no end to get it. Aka EW. He's not supposed to be disliked, I don't think, but I sure dislike him. He gave me the creeps the entire time, and there was one episode where I just legit yelled at my TV about his toxic ass being toxic. He 'falls' for the teacher who he barely knows because she is hot or something and then he won't take no for an answer. She is firm and clear with him and he doesn't respect her at all - he risks her career and never even for a moment considers her feelings as he continues to pursue her and manipulate the shit out of her until she gets with him. He blackmails her and ambushes her and even yells at her once that she is running away from her problems when she bans him from her class. Like, no you rapey asshat, she's running from you because you are a toxic monster. But she caves when he says that and is legit tricked in such a stereotypical way, again and again, until she thinks it's her idea to get together and I'm just like this is a case study on toxic relationships right here. Ew. So much Ew.

I really wonder where that is going to go. I didn't watch Bad Romance first, but I wonder if their relationship is toxic as hell in that one, and if that is the case, and they wanted to show how that toxic relationship started, I will come back here and give this show ten stars. If it's intentional. I hope it is, I hope that that isn't a standard for love anywhere in the world, because that shit isn't love.

Anyway, I loved this show almost as much as What the Duck, actually maybe more. Maybe. We'll see.
