One of THE BEST dramas I have ever had the pleasure of watching, and I’ve watched many. The acting is outstanding, as is the plot. Of course Lee Joon Gi is pure eye candy and a versatile, excellent actor. It is basically about a present day, unhappy women, traveling back in time during an eclipse, to the Goryeo Dynasty in the year 941. She falls for one prince, but ultimately falls harder for the prince that is an outcast. She helps him rise to the top of the Dynasty, but loses him in the process. I don't want to give away any more and spoil it for future watchers. All I can say is I was riveted to each and every second, of each and every episode, and was sad when I finished it. I cried many times, and laughed many times, quite the roller coaster of emotions. I wish that a second season would be aired, but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen. If you watch it, you’ll understand why it needs to be continued in present day.
