dear ex is so good, roy is phenomenal here, not just an LGBTQ story, one with grief, family, unexpected bonds are my faves it was a complicated one that dealt with messy relationships and that sometimes oyu rlly don't know the closest person around you. So touching especially the play with the Bali song. No one here was perfect which I loved. From an overbearing mom lashing out, to a depressed kid and a broke male lover they deal with grief in their own ways this deserved all the hype, love and recognition. So refreshing and well-written and acted.

I wasn't too into it but the romance here really got me roy chiu is one of my top taiwanese actors he's great in many movie and drama roles from funny, serious, and quirky to touching. Ofc it helps that this was on Netflix and I didn't know what to watch so I will go through my Netflix pile first

It's also nice to know we got a HE irl with the leads married cna then do another on-screen project together? Pretty Please Netflix needs to invest more in taiwanese dramas and films cause taiwan industry is high quality content and refreshing plot, good writing <3  

very much my fav k-movie vibes I have a thing for found family, dealt with dark topics like rape, the injustice of it all, the letters always tugged on my heart and made me cry is it romanticized and unlikely at some parts compared to real life where not everyone in the prison would love 2037 aka the fl? yes but still a deserving movie to be discussed and loved. I just disliked the open ending here :( and wanted more time with the prisoners and their epilogue would have been nice

literally not what I expected I NEVER read synopsis but try to figure it out with the poster and name, i knew there would be fate and fantasy was so shook by how much fantasy it was. Acting was good, it was unique but I don't think I would give it 8.5+ maybe 7.5 or 8? It was touching through but kurumi be my fave character that dog can act

this is my fave find, it's so freaking sad and was very dark but I cried so hard the ending had me just silent and shook for so long, the last act wow, the acting? I NEED a 3 min epilogue or soemthing it's so powerful and an important one to watch even for non-bl fans cause that's not the point it's the demonstration of bullying, how hard it is for ppl to come out and i'm sure things like this still happen in asia 

watched this and was shook! Taeri I appreciate the professionalism the intimate scenes were def R rated and quite drawn out, i felt like it was a tad too long for comfort but I know the director is known for explicitness which is ballsy and an art form in itself, props to the actors. Plot wise it was fine? It was like I thought a bit long, pretty predictable but I still enjoyed it 

screw the dirty old scumbags, the fact that this came out in 2014? wild! In 2022 they are only exploring BL like semantic error finally getting recognized haha I wonder what koreans thought of it back in the day. International reception is great tho. 

was good and entertaining but lowkey i dont remember anything too much timelines too many characters a bit messy if you ask me but 10/10 for cast

honestly it went on for 30 mins too long the main plot wasn't interesting but the characters wwere so great mino was amazing here, sometimes cheesy and goofy but def old school very stylistic 80s, colorful and fun yoo ah in you are a fine fine man

comedy didn't land all the time but this is my first mai davika movie she's good the ending i thought it would have been more realistic but they opted for the fun route which was ok i guess

Yeah so i got addicted to movies it's more like 2-3 movies a day instea dof a week lol but I gotta make up for all those years I never got into it, they always surprise me these movies, this one was about voice phishing my worst fear and it was a great quick watch

Loved this it was a slow burn tragic slice of life rather than the action most ppl expected with the title, heartbreaking wish we got more daughter father moments  BRILLIANT ACTING right in the feels the last 20 mins

the ending was bittersweet love the chaos and that car chase scene at the end is so memerable what stuck with me is that they couldn't even look at each other or be friendly in public due to years of diplomatic opposition very good glad I watched it 

SO GOOD I am saving my Bong Joon Ho films but I get it, man makes really good action/horror concepts that are addictive and fun to watch but they sneak in the family elements and some comedic parts so well balanced I loved it so much props to the little girl who is now 30? go ah sung? she's so good. Now i get why everyone love Bae Doo Na cannot wait to watch more kcinema the older ones are my fave

as a fan of the genre seen it before, frustrating characters but was it till enjoyable? yes FL killed it in the acting apartment that street begging scene was wow, Wi Ha Jun was intimidating af felt unstoppable but if only cops looked at the cctv...

i watched a movie recap yt vid and idk if I can do this the extreme gore and part where they show him digging through shit literally poo gross maybe one day right now i'm not tough enough for it old boy looks good though but i also spoiled myself watching a movie recap so maybe next year or when i forget about the twists

was ok, the ml had a shit day and it just went crazier and crazier good acting but idk how to feel i wasn't blown away by it

yeah this confused the heck outa me at first, had to watch those explained vids and i appreciate it more after thinking about it, great twists. The  thing is i thought it would be more thriller than horror but i was  wrong not mad tho

watched this it was well written and acted, i don't really watch horror for me it was more sad than scary either way after watching beat by beat analysis of it worthy of all the praise
