Yoon Gyung Ho in talks to join Park Ji Hoon in upcoming novel-based K-drama 'Becoming a Cooking Sold

Yoon Gyung Ho will reportedly join the upcoming K-drama Becoming a Cooking Soldier Legend.

On February 12, media outlets reported that Yoon Gyung Ho will work alongside Park Ji Hoon in the upcoming web novel-based K-drama Becoming a Cooking Soldier Legend. 

This will possibly be Yoon Gyung Ho's follow-up work after the hit Netflix K-drama The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call. He worked alongside Ju Ji Hoon, Choo Young Woo, Ha Young, Jeong Jae Kwang, and Kim Eui Sung.

Aside from Becoming a Cooking Soldier Legend, he will also star in the upcoming youth comedy K-drama I Believe You with Jeong Jae Hyun, Lee Chae Min, Jeong E Suh, Park Sung Woong, and Kim Sun Young. 

Yoon Gyung Ho will also appear in the upcoming film My Daughter Is a Zombie alongside top stars Jo Jung Suk, Lee Jung Eun, Cho Yeo Jung, and Choi Yu Ri. 

Becoming a Cooking Soldier Legend will tell the story of a poor man in his 20s. He joined the military and there he grew and became a legendary cook. The K-drama will depict its story from the web novel of the same name. 

This will be the next work of director Jo Nam Hyung who also created the K-dramas Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938, A Superior Day, Tale of the Nine-Tailed, and more. 

Park Ji Hoon first received the offer to lead the K-drama. He got the offer to portray the main lead role, Kang Seong Jae. On the other hand, Yoon Gyung Ho got the offer to portray the role of Park Jae Young. He is the administrative supply officer of the military unit where Kang Seong Jae is assigned.

There is no official confirmation yet on the release date and broadcast channel for Becoming a Cooking Soldier Legend.
