'When the Phone Rings' continues to rise in ratings despite a one-week hiatus
The upcoming music comedy K-drama Spring of the Four Seasons is confirmed to premiere next year.
On December 14, it was officially confirmed that Park Ji Hu, N. Flying's Lee Seung Hyub, Jo Han Chul, and Seo Hye Won would lead Spring of the Four Seasons.
Spring of the Four Seasons follows the journey of a top K-pop group called Four Seasons, composed of four talented individuals. As they navigate the challenges of college life, they discover the power of music and love, shaping their destinies as both artists and young adults.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Kim Sung Yong who is also known for creating the series My Dearest, The Veil, My Healing Love, and more.
According to reports, the upcoming K-drama will premiere in the first half of 2025. It will be part of the Monday and Tuesday K-drama timeslot of SBS.
This will be one of the comeback K-drama projects of Park Ji Hu after three years. The actress will also appear in the upcoming series Spirit Fingers and All of Us Are Dead Season 2. Park Ji Hu last starred in the 2022 K-drama Little Women. In 2023, she also made a special cameo appearance in Miraculous Brothers.
Lee Seung Hyub's follow-up project after two hit K-dramas this year would be Spring of the Four Seasons. This year, the N.Flying member starred in popular K-dramas Lovely Runner and Love Next Door. This will also be his reunion work with Jo Han Chul and Seo Hye Won.
Meanwhile, this will be Jo Han Chul's second upcoming K-drama next year. He will also star in Mercy for None. This year, Jo Han Chul has been busy with several K-dramas and films. He appeared in Frankly Speaking, The Auditors, Love Next Door, Queen Woo, KBS Drama Special 2024, Mr. Plankton, My Name Is Loh Kiwan, and Uprising.
Lastly, scene stealer Seo Hye Won is already confirmed for two K-dramas next year including Spring of the Four Seasons. The actress is known for being part of the popular K-dramas Lovely Runner, Alchemy of Souls, Business Proposal, True Beauty, and more.
