Netflix has confirmed the production of Honey Jar Project and revealed its casting lineup: Lee Jae Wook, Go Min Si, Kim Min Ha, and Lee Hee Joon.
Honey Jar Project is a mystery horror fantasy series set against the background of a strange agency that only offers so-called "sweet gigs" starting at 50 times the usual hourly wage.
Lee Jae Wook plays the role of Hyuk Joon. In order to pay off his debts, Hyuk Joon takes on an extremely high-paying part-time job after seeing an ad from the mysterious Spyder Human Resource Center. However, once he steps in, he begins witnessing bizarre and unexpected phenomena.
Lee Jae Wook is expected to bring to life Hyuk Joon's attempts to survive the eerie happenings of this hellish workplace.
Go Min Si takes on the role of Yeon Joo, an industrial accident investigator from the Labor Disaster Protection Agency who actively seeks to uncover the truth behind the secrets surrounding the mysterious Spyder Human Resource Center.
The role of Hyuk Joon's younger sister, Ji Yoon, will be played by Kim Min Ha. Ji Yoon is bold and outspoken, and lives by the motto, "Poverty is scarier than ghosts." Though she constantly bickers with Hyuk Joon, who is buried in debt and has no sense of purpose in life, she gets concerned after he starts his part-time job and begins to act strangely.
The mysterious man running the Spyder Human Resource Center will be portrayed by Lee Hee Joon. The actor plays a suspicious character who keeps offering Hyuk Koon irresistibly high-paying part-time jobs, though it's unclear who is actually behind these requests.
Honey Jar Project will be available exclusively on Netflix.
