In the process of creating an insurance policy that safeguards life after unexpected breakups and the ever-looming possibility of divorce, the series humorously portrays the relatable journey of adults striving to live life on their own terms. The newly unveiled poster further sparks curiosity. While there are numerous insurance policies for life and car to travel, divorce is also an unexpected life crisis that can strike without warning.
At a major turning point in life, Noh Ki Joon (Lee Dong Wook) introduces a happiness-guaranteed divorce insurance policy to support new beginnings. His unconventional idea, combined with the phrase "Divorce also requires preparation," heightens curiosity about the story that will unfold.
Lee Dong Wook plays Noh Ki Joon, an actuary in the Innovative Product Development Team at Plus Insurance. Though he appears to be the perfect man with both impressive credentials and expertise, he has been through three marriages and three divorces. Despite having his wallet and soul completely drained by his divorces, he remains steadfast in his beliefs, even in the face of societal prejudice. In an era where divorce rates are skyrocketing, Noh Ki Joon comes to see divorce as one of life's most unexpected disasters, leading him to develop a divorce insurance product.
Lee Joo Bin plays Kang Han Deul, an insurance underwriter who is reborn through divorce. Having spent a long time believing that enduring hardships was the only answer, she decides to completely reform herself after her divorce. Equipped with charm and eccentricity she joins Noh Ki Joon's divorce insurance development team as a highly skilled underwriter. As she immerses herself in the team, she gains the courage to take a step forward into the world.
