Kim Min Ha is confirmed to be 2PM's Lee Jun Ho's female lead in a new tvN K-drama

Kim Min Ha and 2 PM's Lee Jun Ho are the next tvN K-drama pairing.

On  February 18, media outlets revealed that Kim Min Ha has finally accepted the role to star in the upcoming K-drama Typhoon Boss. 

Typhoon Boss will showcase the struggles of Typhoon Company and their employees during the 1997 IMF crisis. 

Director Lee Na Jung, who created the popular K-dramas Fight for My Way, See You in My 19th Life, Mine, Love Alarm, Oh My Venus, and The Innocent Ma,n will helm Typhoon Boss. 

 Lee Jun Ho will play the role of Kang Tae Poong, the current CEO of Typhoon Company. He will do everything to protect the family business that his late father built.

Kim Min Ha, on the other hand, will give life to the character named Oh Mi Sook, the eldest daughter and the sales representative of Typhoon Company. 

The production team announced, "Typhoon Boss will tell the inspiring stories of ordinary workers facing difficult challenges and their paths to overcoming the crisis."

Typhoon Boss will premiere in the second half of 2025. It will exclusively air on tvN and will have a total of 16 episodes. 

Typhoon Boss will be Kim Min Ha's second K-drama for 2025. She will also star in the fantasy romance K-drama Way Back Love with Gong Myung, Jung Gun Joo, Oh Woo Ri, Ko Chang Seok, and Seo Young Hee. 

Kim Min Ha will also return to the movie scene with two films. She will lead the film Day and Night to Each Other with Joo Jong Hyuk, Han Sun Hwa, Chang Ryul, Shim Eun Kyung, and Lee Hee Joon. 

She will also be the murderer in the upcoming crime thriller A Girl with Closed Eyes. 

Last year, the actress appeared in two OTT original K-dramas, Pachinko Season 2 and Light Shop.
