Oh Yeon Seo will be Lee Jung Jae's first love in 'Mean Love'
Actor Yoo In Soo is joining the upcoming episode of Study Group.
On February 17, it was officially confirmed that Yoo In Soo would be making a special cameo appearance in the TVING action thriller K-drama Study Group. This will be the reunion of Yoo In Soo and Hwang Min Hyun. The two previously worked together in the two seasons of tvN's K-drama Alchemy of Souls.
Study Group tells the story of Yoon Ga Min, a student who excels at fighting but struggles academically. Determined to pass his college entrance exams, he formed a study group to improve their academic performance together. The story is depicted from the webtoon of the same name written by Shin Hyung Wook and illustrated by Ryu Seung Yeon.
The K-drama is being led by Hwang Min Hyun, Han Ji Eun, Cha Woo Min, Lee Jong Hyun, Shin Su Hyun, and Yoon Sang Jung.
It is the latest work of director Lee Jang Hoon (Miracle: Letters to the President ) and writer Oh Bo Hyun (Behind Your Touch).
Yoo In Soo will portray the role of Choo Jae Hwang, a second-year student studying at Yusung Technical High School. He will play the role of a villain and the son of Choo Sung Woong, the enforcer of the Yeonbaek gang. He will fight against the Study Group members.
Study Group will premiere its ninth and final episode on February 20. The K-drama can be viewed exclusively on TVING.
Study Group will be the first appearance of Yoo In Soo in the K-drama scene this year.
Last year, the actor led the K-drama The Midnight Studio with Joo Won, Kwon Na Ra, Eum Moon Suk, Han Groo, and Ahn Chang Hwan.
Yoo In Soo will also star in the upcoming action movie Boy with Cho Byeong Kyu, Seo In Guk, and Jini.
The actor is best known for being part of the K-dramas Daily Dose of Sunshine, The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch, The Good Bad Mother, Alchemy of Souls, All of Us Are Dead, and more.
